Who can be covered by Delta Dental of Wyoming under an individual policy?
Only permanent residents of Wyoming can be covered by Delta Dental of Wyoming. These plans offer coverage for singles, two-person, or familes. Eligible dependents include spouses or dependent children. Individual dental plans may be purchased regardless of existing dental insurance plans.
Can I see my own dentist?
Delta Dental of Wyoming belongs to a national network of dental benefits providers, with member dentists in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. You can see any dentist you choose, but you will save more by seeing a participating provider. Click here to see if your dentist participates in the Premier network.
When does my coverage start?
All completed enrollment applications received by the last day of the month will have their coverage become effective the first day of the next month.
What is a waiting period?
A waiting period is the period of time between when your policy starts and when certain benefits as stipulated by your policy are eligible to be considered to be paid by Delta Dental. If you have at least 3 months of dental coverage prior to your effective enrollment date (with no more than a 30-day break in coverage), your waiting periods will be waived on your new Delta Dental policy.
How can I terminate my individual policy?
Requests to terminate are required to be received in writing (i.e. through email, fax or U.S. mail), with 30 days' notice to Delta Dental of Wyoming.
