The Wyoming Delta Dental Foundation was established in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide access to quality dental care through innovative and educational programs and to promote oral health to every Wyomingite. The Foundation supports numerous programs across Wyoming for seniors, new moms, children and dental students.

Wyoming Smiles Senior Dental Program

The senior program provides free dental insurance to low income seniors in the state. Enrollment for the 2025 program is now open.

Smile Bags

Through our Smile Bag program we donate oral health materials to organizations across the state of Wyoming including schools, churches, homeless shelters, etc. Smile bags include toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss. Smile bags can be requested year-round.

Healthy Little Smiles (New Mom Bags)

Through a partnership with the Wyoming Dental Association, the Foundation provides new moms who have a baby in a Wyoming hospital an oral health kit. The oral health kit includes a gum cleaner, a toddler toothbrush, an adult toothbrush and oral health tips for taking care of baby’s teeth & gums. Any Wyoming hospital that has a birthing center is eligible to receive the oral health kits.

Earl B. Kincheloe, DDS Scholarship

The Foundation provides a $500 scholarship annually to Wyoming students attending dental school at the University of Nebraska or Creighton University through the WYDENT program. (Wyoming students attending dental school in other states are also welcome to apply) Scholarships are awarded in the spring of each year.
